hey everyone? hope all of u r fine. just wanna consult all of u regarding one problem that im facing rite now..
im just deciding whether i should do my optional practical training here in the states... meaning i get to work in the US for one year but i have to find my own job n u can work in the states for max 1 year. its not compulsory. i tot of doing it but recently as u all know the Swine Flu is getting worst in the states here..my mum wants me to go back straight after my graduation but i miss USA!! i want to stay in the states here longer coz i kinda like it here alot. but then if i apply for my optional practical training i must get a job within 3 months, if not i also have to go back malaysia. n i have to pay usd 340 for the opt fee. so im not sure if its worth paying so much. if i dun get a job by 3 months time the money will go to waste just like tat.. how?? btw the 3 months period begins after my graduation in june. so meaning i have to find a job latest by august.. how??? tell me wat do u guys think. should i go for it? or should i not?

well, yin. i do encourage u to do the job searching around now. i know 340dollar is a lot but life is like part of gambling. there is always pro n cons in life. if u gamble with 340dollar then u can get a job n stay longer then i;m fine with tat. if it;s me, it worth trying when u have the money.. y not? the bad side is now the economy downpour n u.s. was the country tat badly effected, it's quite hard to get a job there. it still worth tryin cos u nvr try , u will nvr know wat happen next.

yin, i think u should at least try... i mean u are already there, if u wanna get a job go ahead! when u are back its difficult to go back there and work... so must use this opportunity given to u! u can work part time at some places while waiting for ur job interviews also right? then at least u can earn some money to support ur living... anyway, u can apply 6 months before u graduate right? i mean u can write in ur resume that u are going to graduate soon but want to apply for the job earlier...then maybe by the time u grad u can get a confirmation by any company fast....
i seriously think u shud go for it... its because my friend, she is here and wants to go to US to work, but the amount of things she have to do is unbelievable!!! and the exams she have to go through!!!! my goodness...
so u should really take this opportunity!!!!!!!!!

the thing is i cant work part time when im studying because im holding a student visa in usa. if not i memang can find alot of jobs d...yea i decided not to go back malaysia n give myself time to look for a job =) feel so happiiee after deciding coz i know i want this =)) thanks guys
